Spring 2010... Favourites

She loves goats. Savan had only been walking for 2 weeks here. She was very wobbly amoung the spry goat kids.

We celebrated Earth Day by enjoying one of Victoria's beautiful beaches.

We stumbled on this salmon awareness rally/protest/march to the Parliament building. Very fun. She loved it.

She picked me a flower on this day. So sweet. She LOVES smelling flowers. She stops quite often on walks to take in the aromas.

She is so sweet. I love her so much.

Our Seventh... We Made It!

Before we were married an older couple on one of our bus tours in AK told us, "If you make it through the first 7 years of marriage, you will make it." That always stuck with us and we are pleased to announce that... we made it! Yhessss....

To celebrate, Grandma & Co came up for 4 days and watched Savannah. Andy and I take turns every other year planning our anniversary celebrations and this year Katie was up. Making it through the first seven was reason for a little surprise trip. We went to Ucluelet, BC near the Pacific Rim National Park on the western coast of the Island.

It was a wonderful time away from the common and normal. We stayed in a cute little cabin, ate yummy food, slept in, went on some coastal day hikes... very fun. And as always we renewed our vows in our wedding clothes. Here are some pics from that time together.
